Welcome to the New Blog.

For those of you that are familiar with my other blog:  The Sometimes Serious Blog, I had pretty much started to consume it with articles concerning our adventures outdoors instead of what it was originally intended for.  Thus, I have opted to create another blog site to to encompass our new pursuits in the great outdoors.  As for the title of the blog site, it conveys much meaning for me as I had become somewhat of a recluse behind the door of my house when I wasn't working.  The recliner, television, and remote control have now been replaced with a longing to get out and enjoy Life Outside My Door!
